One Young World
London Summit 2019
Registration Management and Event Support
One Young World is 'the world's biggest and most impactful youth leadership summit' (Vice) and in it's 10th anniversary year would return to the event's founding city, London, bringing together more than 2,000 delegates from 193 countries. A further 1,600 attended to promote and connect the best young leaders to create a better world.
With multiple stakeholders, venues and 3,600 attendees, ensuring that a smooth registration process for delegates, partners, press, exhibitors, workshop facilitators and media was critical to ensuring that the One Young World summit was a success.
Due to the event's scale and nature Bromfield Events worked with a number of third-party agencies, VIP management, venue services, security, different registration processes and volunteer management. In the event's first 6 hours 2,500 people had been registered. Additional support was provided in other logistics areas.
In four weeks, uniformed processes were put in place to ensure that no attendee went unregistered, ensuring that once arrived on site, that arrival procedures were in place for a smooth first-experience for all guests. On the event's opening day, more than 2,500 guests had collected accreditation.
Additional event management support was provided while on site during One Young World's Opening Ceremony at Royal Albert Hall, welcome dinner at the Natural History Museum, and other fringe events.

Mike is masterful at managing stakeholders at all levels, we only ever received glowing feedback. Mike's never ending positive attitude and boundless energy was invaluable, especially when other team members' energy levels were flagging. We were particularly impressed with his problem solving abilities. He was always looking for cost effective and more efficient solutions, and numerous times stepped in to help others even when the problem wasn't his responsibility.
